This race will be limited to twelve starters. Preferrence to start will be given in the following order: Graded/Group Stakes Winners (in order I-II-III). BRASS HAT tracked in hand to the final turn, went three wide for the drive,
responded well through the stretch and drew off under good handling to the wire.
ON THE BORDER forwardly placed to the quarter pole, had a three wide bid in the
stretch but was not good enough and held the place spot. PAGING stalked the
leaders in good position, rallied between horses for show and dead heated with
his entry mate. DISCREET HERO dueled to the stretch then weakened late but held
the show spot. SCIPION raced back to the stretch and improved position late
while going wide into the turn. GIFT OF THE EAGLE raced evenly with no response
in the drive. COLLATERAL DAMAGE never far back for three quarters then faded
thereafter. GALLO DEL BAR (CHI) unhurried early, was ask for run after three
quarters with no response. IT'S NO JOKE raced evenly for three quarters and gave
way. NORTHERN SHADE showed good speed from inside but gave way after a half.
